We rise to the challenge.

Our Wire & Cable business unit is providing a broad range of sophisticated polyolefin compounds to the cable market.

Our unique polymer manufacturing technologies make the wires and cables used in distribution, transmission, building, construction and data networks more efficient, sustainable and they help eliminate wastage.

To strengthen our Wire & Cable sales team, we are now looking for you to support the business growth.

This role is for you, if you value a long-lasting and stable relationship to your customers and if you are eager to understand your customers on all levels.

You will
- be responsible for your own clear sales strategy, forecast and targets (volume, price, and profit) in alignment with our industry cluster strategy
- be selling our products and services based on defined value propositions
- be planning and conducting negotiations
- collaborate closely with our Application Development Engineers, Marketing and Customer Service departments
- be managing after sales activities

  • Collect regional market information in the value chain to build intelligence and communicate to relevant internal stakeholders

About you:

We are looking for professional with strong chemical engineering background with financial literacy and commercial awareness.


You have a solid business or sales experience in a polyolefin/polymer/chemical environment Any background from the Wire & Cable industry value chain is a big bonus.


You are a strategic and pro-active thinker with high integrity, who is always eager to understand their customers on all levels - e.g.

the value chain, their strategies, used technologies etc. - and you are able to connect those insights with the value of Borealis products and services. Your great communication and networking skills are part of your winning strategy.

You are fluent in both written and spoken English and German. You have used modern CRM tools in the past and you are familiar with Excel. Since you like being out in the fields and with your customers, you welcome business travel.
