Test Manager (f/m/x)Thales in Austria is a full system provider and global supplier of train control technology and traffic management systems (f. ex. European Train Control System (ETCS), Electronic interlockings, Operation Control Centers and dispatching systems, Field elements).
The train control unit is looking for an ambitious Test Manager, to proof that our new developed ETCS product fulfills all of the customer requirements and functions as intended.
In this role you coordinate overall 4 testers and all test activities from the first concept until the final document.
If you want to manage the testing a complex system consisting of different software and hardware parts and are a real team player, then join us at Thales in AustriaYour CHALLENGE- Responsibility for conception, planning and implementation of all project test activities- Coordinating the test team consisting of 4 testers- Preparation of test documentation (Test Report, Test Case Specification)- Definition and execution of functional-, integration
- and performance tests Manual /Automation
- Monitoring the progress of the test and reporting test results
- Assessing risks and identify possible improvements
- Close cooperation with product development, quality assurance, operations and project management
- and hardware components
- Good Java skills
- Knowledge of Gherkin
- Knowledge of standards (CENELEC) is an advantage
- Knowledge of test automation is advantageous
- ISTQB Certifications are advantageous
- Good level of English necessary, German is advantageous
