After six years of practicing veterinary medicine, I would like to pursue another professional opportunity. When I found the employment advertisement, I felt I would be a perfect fit because of my theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in the medical and literary field.

At my last job I worked mainly as an internal specialist and surgeon, but I also took it upon myself to fulfil many other organisational tasks. Those included – but were not limited to – pricing, sales figures (current status and developement) and marketing. In addition, it was also one of my duties to train and educate our nurses and new veterinarians.

In the course of my veterinary studies and also my career as a veterinarian I accumulated a broad knowledge base. By participating in journal clubs and also by writing my thesis, I learned to analyse medical/case studies and by frequently presenting said studies to an audience I gained a lot of experience in preparing complex topics and conveying them in a comprehensible manner.

My literary studies granted me the opportunity of gaining extensive insights into the field of writing in general. I compiled several works regarding many topics in different languages, varying from journalistic to scientific texts - even a few artistic pieces. While I was working as a veterinarian I also wrote informational texts for owners of patients regarding common diseases that might afflict their pet such as Diabetes or Hyperthyriodism.

Recently I created some medical content for Medbee GmbH.

Working efficiently and with attention to detail while having an open and sunny predisposition comes natural to me. Completing tasks independently or in a team, both is equally appealing to me. Furthermore I'm accustomed to performing under pressure and finding creative solutions for problems. Dedication and loyalty are my strongest assets.

It is of utmost importance to me to having a job that is meaningful and thus fulfills me, which is the reason why I'm applying for this position.
