Global Environmental Manager (f/m/x):

Where you can make a mark:

You will play a vital role in managing the development and execution of Lenzing's environmental management programme
You will be responsible for the assessment, reporting and continuous improvement of environmental key data (EKD) and environmental key performance indicators (EKPIs) for all of our production sites
You will collaborate with sitespecific Environmental Management teams, striving for greater standardisation of processes & practices across the Group
You will develop and execute global programs & projects related to the implementation of the environment road map
You will coordinate and provide trainings (groupwide as well as sitespecific) on environmental issues & topics

What you bring to the table:

You hold an advanced degree in Environmental Management, General Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related technical or scientific discipline
You have a good understanding of Environmental Management tools (eg. environmental impact assessments; environmental risk assessments, etc)
Your solid technical understanding helps you to aggregate data across locations, understand differences and translate them into global pictures and draw respective actions and measures
You have excellent data analysis skills, and can understand and interpret technical data from a range of sources to derive meaningful insights and generate impactful reports on environmental performance
You have a good understanding of how environmental/sustainability performance relate to business and strategy; and are familiar with current & emerging environmental topics and issues
You are fluent in spoken and written English (C2); and proficiency in German, Chinese, Bahasa or Thai would be an advantage
You bring willingness and joy to occasionally travel to our international sites all over the world

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4,400.
- with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience.

Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
