About the role:
You will guide and manage capital expenditures and major investment programs & projects at the Vienna production site.

You will coordinate the project portfolio input of all areas regarding investment projects into the prioritized Site CAPEX Project Portfolio and translate it into long & mid-range CAPEX estimates/plans.

You are responsible for a detailed CAPEX budget & forecast planning and schedule & spend controlling of executed projects.


How you will contribute:


  • Lead and direct the Vienna CAPEX Program & Project Management Team in alignment with the Vienna site strategy
  • Local execution and global representation of major investment programs & projects
  • Instill accountability in site capital team for project delivery and spending with high level of transparency and predictability
  • Support and Coach all CAPEX project managers to execute according to CAPEX guidelines
  • Monitoring of project portfolio execution and CAPEX volume spend & schedule controlling
  • Business process ownership for CAPEX management including continuous process improvements
  • Translate site strategies into the Site Master Plan based on stateoftheart and upcoming technology standards
  • Close Collaboration with international CAPEX Lead and other network Site Capital Leads for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Presentation of executive summaries from translated detail information
  • Proactively assure compliance with regulatory requirements

What you bring to Takeda:


  • Proven long term leadership experience and communication skills
  • Profound Experience within Program & Portfolio Management preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent knowledge of technical project execution, performance measurement, tracking methods and (digital) tools
  • Higher technical degree with additional higher financial and/or planning education
  • Organizational talent with a highly connecting and diverse attitude
  • Strong English and preferably German language skills
