Dimetor bridges the mobile communications and aviation industries and enables safe and reliable data connectivity for low-altitude aviation. Our product is specialized software for high-performance LTE/5G simulation and air-traffic-management integration.

We have business with very large customers in the USA, Europe and Australia.

We are involved in global standardization of future commercial drone operations and we collaborate with aviation authorities like EASA and FAA.

What challenges await you?

• As Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for the technical solution in a customer project and first contact person for technical matters
• You will take care of the analysis and translation of customer requirements into system requirements
• You will have the technical overview of individual projects (requirements, resources, etc)
• You need to be or become proficient in all the technologies we're using
• You will be responsible for a smooth acceptance of the solution at the end of the project
• You are handling the technical risk management including security and safety aspects
• You will work in close cooperation with the commercial project manager
• You will communicate internally with the whole team as well as externally with customers and partners

What do we expect from you?

• An academic background in computer science, communications engineering or a related field
• Several years of experience in an interface function in IT / software / telecom customer project business (e.g. as a system engineer, technical solution manager, technical project manager, system architect)
• Interest in business trips for customer interactions and acceptance
• Teamoriented and structured personality with a confident and representative appearance
• Solutionoriented thinking and willingness to make decisions
• You have an entrepreneurial disposition; you are able to creatively solve hard problems, get up to speed quickly, and bring a curious, cando zest to all the challenges you face.
• You have a positive, cando attitude that you harness to rally a team to make impressive progress day after day. You approach the position with flexibility to meet the needs of the business.

Extra bonus points

• Good knowledge of mobile telecommunication technologies such as LTE, IoT and/or 5G
• Aviation background or basic knowledge of aviation terms and procedures Understanding and experience in cloud native software solutions
