Roles & Responsibilities
Take over design responsibility for the whole interior design scope in a new project from scratch
Investigate and prepare conceptual decision making based on requirements and cost (cost value engineering if necessary)
Lead and delegate to a back-office design team in India
Interface clarification to neighbouring systems in in all systems
Alignments with SMO buyers department for all interior
Technical supplier management for all interior
Interface clarification to neighbouring systems in interior and other systems
Alignments with mobility buyers department for the assigned systems
Technical supplier management for the assigned systems
Required Skills (Technical Competency)
Experienced design engineer including concept design
Material processing know how for relevant materials: GRP, Metals, Glass, Wood, ...
Preferred experience in large cabin interior design (trains, trams, busses, planes)
Experienced in leading engineering teams
Experienced in technical supplier management
Highly trained in 3D-CAD, including CREO and SAP
Knowledge on rolling stock design/Loco CAB Design/Train interiors Design
Desired Skills
Very communicative
Fluent in English
Basic knowledge in German (ability to read specifications and understand most communication in meetings)
Independent way of working
