The team

You could be part of a growing team of video analytics experts. Our experienced team provides technical support and shares the know-how world-wide to both our customers and our colleagues regarding the video analytics products of Genetec. We work every day on exciting projects and utilize the most advanced state-of-the-art technology in the field.

You will get all the tools you need to reach your goals. Your experienced co-workers will always share their knowledge with you to make sure you are able to complete your tasks at the highest level of efficiency and precision.

What your day will look like

  • Support proof of concept and pilot projects related to video analytics
  • Collaborate with other software specialists and developers as well as with sales engineers and field engineers
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Analyze, diagnose and resolve challenging issues relating to video analytics software applications and other related technologies
  • Presentation and discussion with customers about technical questions
  • Document status, steps taken and communication with stakeholders for customer issues using Genetec systems
  • Maintain the SLA (Service Level Agreement) with the customer via regular updates
  • Assist in the evolution of our software via bug reports and feature requests
  • Provide occasional on-site technical support
  • Conduct lab experiments such as hardware dimensioning and evaluate results

    • About you:

  • You have experience in a related field such as computer vision, video surveillance or security
  • Through your advanced communication skills, you make professional contact with customers
  • You are proficient in English both verbally and in writing
  • Your analytic thinking helps you to follow a structured approach in problem solving
  • You can be flexible and multi-tasking
  • You are rather precise and able to pay attention to details

    • Great if you have:

  • A university degree in a related field
  • German and/or French language skills
  • Experience in video processing (ffmpeg/VLC/OpenCV/etc.)
  • Experience with MS SQL
