You will business partner the Bludenz plant management team and lead the finance agenda with integrity as an active member of the local leadership team.

You will support the plant management team with business proposals, validating financials and leading the plant cost management agenda.

Core areas of responsibilities include period end actuals accounting and reporting, major planning cycle delivery including operating plan, forecasts and productivity planning and verification of financial assumptions.

You will be responsible for the management of financial matters for a medium sized confectionary plant.


How you will contribute

You will:

  • Manage the financial planning and cost management process for the plant including annual operating plan, major forecast updates, strategic plan. The high need for financial modelling and decision support with strong business partnering with integrity.
  • Ensure and own a strong controls and compliance framework is in place for plant related matters impacting financial control and in the manufacturing environment. To be responsible that corporate policies are adhered to and understood throughout the plant organisation.
  • To have a drive for process harmonisation, to drive cost management efficiencies and improvements cross functionally within the plant. To build and encourage a mindset of continuous improvement to drive the finance and manufacturing agenda forward linked to integrated lean six sigma principles.
  • Dotted line responsibility for section controllers and driving the development of third party resources supporting the plant. To build a high performing team with the development of section controllers, contributing towards calibration and succession planning agenda for business continuity needs.

You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Technical expertise in financial planning and performance management including analysing, interpreting, and driving forward plant results.
  • To be KPI results orientated whilst remaining focused on longer term strategic agenda and supporting investment decisions.
  • Leadership skills to be a strong business partner with a high level of integrity and independence as a functional partner to the plant management team.
  • Growth and Digital mindset: an ability to identify opportunities whilst leveraging technology to improve operational and cost efficiency. (Use of power BI, Alteryx, AI technology would be advantageous but not essential)
  • Integrity and sound financial and business judgement in all decision making and stakeholder management aligned to the corporate values and policies and external regulations.
  • Accounting or master's qualification desired but not essential if the right experience is held / qualified by experience.
  • German language desired but not essential. Willingness to integrate / interact with plant management and local plant teams essential.
  • Job flexibility is provided with a requirement / expectation to work in plant to a minimum of 3 working days weekly.

Mandatory information in Austria:
The salary is graded in the Collective Labor Agreement "Information and Consulting".

If you meet the mentioned requirements the entry gross-salary for this position will be EUR per year, split up in 14 pays for full-time.

We're willing to overpay, dependent on your professional work experience and qualification.


The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
