Join Roomle's core web development team We're seeking a talented and versatile Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help us build the future of our SaaS platform. You'll work alongside a talented team on a wide range of features, from backend services to user interfaces, all running on a modern TypeScript and GCP stack.

As a senior member of our team, your 
primary mission
 will be to take ownership of our next-generation 3D asset pipeline. You will architect and build the critical services that process and deliver optimized 3D assets for our world-class web app and AR experiences. This is a chance to apply your engineering skills to a fascinating and challenging domain, while remaining an integral part of our collaborative web team.

What you will do:

Your Primary Focus: The 3D Web Pipeline

• Drive the design and architecture

of our automated 3D web pipeline using 
TypeScript/

and the

ecosystem.
- Build and own the core services

for constructing 3D scenes from our data and exporting them to highly optimized glTF assets.
- Act as the team's subject matter expert

on 3D web graphics, , and the data pipeline, mentoring others and establishing best practices.
- Architect the long-term strategy

for integrating modern 3D tools (e.g., RapidCompact) to enhance and evolve the pipeline's capabilities.
- Drive innovation

in our 3D offerings by researching and prototyping new technologies like advanced glTF extensions or WASM/WebGPU.

As a Senior Member of our Web Team, you will also:

• Contribute to the development of our main SaaS platform

, including designing backend APIs and implementing user-facing features.
- Collaborate on a wide range of engineering challenges

across our entire technology stack.
- Work closely with your web dev colleagues

to improve our overall system architecture, code quality, and development practices.
- Partner with Product Management and designers

on features both within and outside of the 3D domain.

What you will need:

• Strong software engineering foundation:

Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable web applications and backend systems.
- Expertise in TypeScript and

.

for building clean, maintainable, and high-performance backend services.
- Deep experience with

, including its core concepts (scene graph, geometries, materials) and ideally using it in a 
server-side ) environment.
- A strong passion for, and understanding of, 3D graphics concepts

, especially as they relate to 
real-time web graphics and the glTF 2.0 format.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, and taking ownership

of complex software systems or features.
- Architectural mindset

with the ability to make sound technical decisions.
- Solid understanding of 
cloud computing principles (GCP preferred)

- Experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte)

, demonstrating your versatility as a full-stack developer.
- Experience implementing advanced rendering techniques

- Strong collaboration skills, fluent English communication skills (German is a plus).
