Job Description:

What are we looking for in our
Senior Project Managers?
-
Independent thinkers - someone who takes the initiative and can look at, and own a problem and comes up with solutions or workarounds without the need to be directed.

Effective Communicators - as 90% of your time on a project goes in communicating with stakeholders and team members, strong verbal and written communications skills are essential to be successful on these fast paced, complex projects.

Optimism
  • Embracing change to bring new ideas and innovate during the project lifecycle. Fast paced, technically complex projects can become problematic to manage, but an optimistic outlook can make all the difference.

Credibility - prior relevant work experience and deep industry knowledge build the credibility of the Senior Project Manager and enables them to receive respect and support.


Project Managers are expected to have the following
experience and
technical skills:

  • Experience of project managing new site development, pre-construction, or construction phases of projects.
  • Successfully managed large scale, complex, construction projects for clients, delivered on time and within budget.
  • Influencing skills as well as strong communication skills allowing you to effectively interact with clients, contractors, management, and colleagues.
  • An ability to manage expectations, influence change, and report/update accurately on progress drawing on you strong planning and organization skills.
  • Strong understanding in areas of MEP and/or CSA disciplines.
  • Clientside or GC background.

What you will be doing:
-


  • Manage safety and quality in accordance with relevant policies/procedures/protocols.
  • Supervise progress for CSA or M&E or OFCI activities.
  • Participating in design reviews where necessary.
  • Ensure that the correct strategy is in place to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Ensure flow of information between all parties to the contract is effective and timely.
  • Lead or attend key meetings and be prepared to provide progress reports, collaborate to resolve issues, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Keep the project scope under review including impacts to budget and schedule
  • Identify risks and predict potential delays and action remedies.
  • Performing cost analysis where required.

Skills / Experience Required

  • Knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • Civils/Structures/Architectural; OFCI; Mechanical, Electrical, Piping scopes of work.
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
  • Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multitask.
  • Must have a "team attitude", be selfmotivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity and dynamism.
  • Flexible mobility advantageous.
  • Strong English Language skills and a good command in German Language

Qualifications:


  • University degree in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical or Civils or closely related field.
  • Member of a Professional Institute preferred.
Additional Information

The collective bargaining agreement minimum salary for this position is at least €63,000 gross p.a.

However, we would like to explicitly point out that an overpayment is intended based on your specialist knowledge and professional experience.
