The voestalpine High Performance Metals SCM company will further develop the processes for forecast and material requirements planning with the help of digitized and cross-company planning approaches and applicants.

It will work toether with the production and VAS companies to manage the supply chain and ensure its stability, with the lowest possible buffer stocks and a high service level.

Job descriptionJob description***- Coordination of divisional Sales and Operations Planning process as well as controlling of local S&OP processes with focus on finished goods for specialty metals for product segments (Oil&Gas, CPI, Aerospace, Power Generation, Engineering, Automotive Components) to archive fulfillment of market and customer requirements

  • Divisional planning lead for specialty metals ensuring GSE (Global Segment Expert) and P&L holders provide sales demand forecast in expected quality and on time as well as responsible for further breakdown to inventory and purchase planning
  • In alignment of market demands and decisions out of the S&OP meetings, coordinate and execute capacity and quota reservation between specialty metals units and suppliers as well as scenario planning for customer projects and sudden demands
  • Manage inventory on a regional level and coordinate intercompany business transactions such as stock relocation/allocation as well as divisional allocation planning process for specialty metals
  • Identify and sensing of potential supplybottlenecks as well as needed capacity/quota adaptions
  • Reporting of S&OP KPIs such as sales forecast accuracy or supplier delivery reliability and coordinate improvement measurements in case of deviation with internal stakeholder and external suppliers as well as escalation of nonfulfillment as agreed plan such as supply or demand commitment
  • Improve divisional governance process for forecasting of specialty metals, demand planning, supply planning and allocation planning using AI tools and new market developments
  • Implement and improve central reporting and control tower including KPI definition, based on new business requirements and new target settings, and coordinate local/regional/global rollouts
  • Review supplier performance based on SLA agreements and support improvement measurement and preventive actions in case of deviation
  • Support the global specialty metals functions such as GSE, GDSP (Global Director Strategic Purchasing) and SRM's (Supplier Relationship Manager) in preparation and execution of RFQ and supplier negotiations
  • Train the SRMs and Local Buyers with existing and new planning and reporting tools
  • Submit regular standard specialty metals management reports to predefined distribution lists
  • Direct Report to the Head of Global Supply Chain Manager
  • Dotted-Line to the GDSP-

**Qualifications


QualificationsQualifications***- University degree in supply chain, commercial, industrial engineering, purchasing or a similar oriented technical degree

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, advancedplanningsystems or relevant field of operations in a production industry
  • Working experience in one of the industry segments of Oil&Gas, CPI, Aerospace, Power Generation, Engineering and/or Automotive Components (preferred)
  • Working experience in metal processing related industries (preferred)
  • German C1 (preferred)


  • English C

  • High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills combined
  • Strong analytic and conceptual capabilities
  • Good time management in terms of keeping deadlines in planning and exception management processes
  • Pragmatic approach for an efficient exception management in sudden events and case of bottlenecks
  • Power user skills in ERP and APS systems like SAP, BW, SCM, APO, o9, SRM, CRM or similar
  • Data analytics skills
  • International mobility
