Tasks
As Technical Product Manager, you play a key role in enabling change for a better tomorrow by contributing to the technical and commercial success of the product line Mechatronics.
Mechatronic products enable the efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound operation of critical compression equipment and thus the sustainable availability of energy (oil, gas, hydrogen, electricity).
The Technical Product Manager is the owner and expert for his/her products and is responsible for their success in the market.
To achieve this, he/she works closely with internal partners such as R&D, operations, sales, and external partners such as OEMs, end users and engineering companies.
Your responsibilities
- Own innovation projects and drive the go to market of new products
- Actively manage the product lifecycle
- Monitor product performance and provide global support
- Support sales, marketing, operations
- Visit key accounts in coordination with regional sales teams
- Enable and train the organization
- Facilitate the product information management system and create new content (standards, documentation, guidelines, tools)
Requirements:
- Successfully completed education (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics)
- Positive, goalorientated thinking and acting with open feedback culture
- Readiness for leadership in managing a team of indirect reports
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and multicultural environment
- Desired: More than 3 years' experience in a technical position in the oil and gas industry, preferably for a component or compressor manufacturer
- MS-Office skills and ideally MS-Teams, MS-SharePoint and SAP knowledge
- Fluency in German and English
