Company Description:

To strengthen our Global Controlling Team, we are looking for a Business Controller with experience in Project-Controlling.

In this strategic and very visible corporate finance role, you partner with the functional Head of Global Data to manage a large portfolio of cross functional projects.

These cover Global Sales, Operations, Finance, Data Science and Sustainability programs, among others.

The position is based in our Headquarters in Salzburg, Austria, but covers our global scope of 170+ markets and ~120 Subsidiaries.

GENERAL

Ensure a timely distribution of monthly financial information (plan and actual) to every budget holder by sending out reports, by managing system access, and by presenting the information in regular meetings.
Promote efficiency in controlling to minimize time spent for report generation and increase time for analysis, commenting, and insights sharing.
Manage monthly billing and invoice verification process, and coordinate the monthly accrual process based on WIP / Timesheets.
Manage the process of new consultants by verifying rates and adapting the master data accordingly.
Ensure master data quality and verify the consistency of order hierarchies to perfectly mirror the responsibilities in the organization.

PROJECT CONTROLLING

Implement a project controlling structure for crossfunctionalprojects, focusing on investments and returns, along the whole project lifecycle.
Prepare crossfunctional, "Total Cost of Ownership" analysis.
Manage ongoing budget reallocation process.
Align business consulting cost structure with program/project tracking tool (workfront master data setup).
Report and plan total costs for crossfunctional projects, including operational and capital expenditures, which are brought together in reporting and planning through Total Cash Controlling (a combination of Overheads Costs Controlling and Investment Management).
Support preparation of crossfunctional steering meetings.

BUSINESS PARTNERING

Act as a contact and sparring partner for the Global Data Functional Head and Department Heads.
Support in evaluating project outcomes. Support the Functional Head in implementing a business case mentality, with clear ROI of planned business cases.
Prepare adhoc analysis for your stakeholders in Global Data.
Manage the master data (cost center structure/internals order hierarchy) to ensure that reports match the responsibility of each stakeholder, through the whole hierarchy.

PLANNING AND FORECASTING

Coordinate the business plan/revised estimate data collection and aggregate/consolidate the individual plans to a total plan.
Act as the planning coordinator across various management levels to ensure data collection and data entry within our deadlines and fulfill all relevant planning deliveries on time.
Support and challenge the budget owners during the planning process.
Prepare monthly yeartogo best estimates.
Support the establishment of a true bottomup planning process and the development.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a Controlling role with experience in Project-Controlling.

Microsoft Office knowledge (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint).

Familiarity with SAP BI and project management tools (Workfront, Jira, SAP-PS) are a strong plus but not a prerequisite.

Project Management Certifications (PMI, Prince, etc.) are a strong plus, but not a prerequisite.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with internal stakeholders, across functional areas up to senior management.

A structured and well-organised individual.

Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.

However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
