The Red Bull Athlete Performance Center is an athlete accelerator where we enable Red Bull athletes to become truly outstanding performers.

We use advanced technology, analytics and insights from hundreds of different sports to recognize an athlete's individual potential. Become part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver world-class physiotherapy services to Red Bull athletes and teams

We currently seek a Sports Physiotherapist to join our team in Salzburg, Austria.

This role is a key part of the organization and will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services for rehabilitation and performance enhancement to a wide range of athletic populations.

MEDICAL CARE


You will strategically implement the highest level of medical care to our athletes by performing comprehensive clinical assessments and individualized rehabilitation plans associated with both short and long-term rehabilitation and performance outcomes.


COLLABORATION


Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary and multicultural team including medical, strength & conditioning, biomechanics, exercise physiology, mental performance and nutrition to enhance the rehabilitation process and in enhancement of performance.

You will also closely communicate with stakeholders involved in the athlete's performance environment. Help drive the development of evidence-based protocols for all areas of medical services within Red Bull APC.

DOCUMENTATION


You will consistently document and manage all appropriate information, interactions and events as per medico-legal requirements, while upholding athlete-physiotherapist confidentiality at all times.

Finally you will provide written reports related to rehabilitation and performance that provide clarity to the athlete and their team.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, Post-graduate study in the Sports Physiotherapy field is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience, of which 2 years in elite sport environments providing athlete care and injury rehabilitation services to athletes
  • Strong skills in manual therapy and exercise prescription
  • Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team
  • Comprehensive understanding of the tools needed to optimize athletic performance
  • Experience with Athlete Management software and monitoring technologies
  • Experience working with athletes in Football (Soccer), Olympic sports and / or red bull sponsored disciplines such as snow sports, water sports, motor sports, bike sports
