For a new organisation Borealis is looking for a
Group Expert Project Discipline Leads Electrical.

The purpose of this Group Expert is to contribute with highest technical expertise in projects and support to Borealis locations within the defined area of expertise.

In your role you will develop strategies, ensure process definitions, create and revise processes and procedures for MEUR projects.

You will give support to maintenance organization in the area of expertise and ensure adherence to those processes and procedures by working together with the locations.

It is your responsibility to:

Lead the Discipline in projects in close cooperation with the other Discipline Experts with members across Borealis/OMV, both from Plant Availability/Turnaround and Engineering, and focus on value generation out of this context.
Secure compliance to Engineering and Maintenance Requirements implemented in projects and with legislative and regulatory bodies on national and EU level.
Optimise solutions in the projects to reach cost efficiency and long term Reliability.
Give input the corporate technical community to be able to further providing trainings for new technologies and solutions.
Develop business opportunities.
Act as Borealis representative towards external companies for the technical discipline.

About you:

As Group Expert Project Discipline Leads Electrical you have a Master's degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline. You have a Polyolefin & Hydrocarbons Business understanding, a profound knowledge in budgetary planning and experience in leadership. You have 10-15 years of experience in Petrochemical /Process industry with exposure to the relevant discipline.

You must have the ambition to travel and be a proactive supporter in the locations. For this you must be open to be on-site in other locations for certain periods of time (eg. during project execution). Finally, you are fluent in verbal and written business-level English.
