Head of Global Category Management & Prototype Purchasing f/m/d:


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Sourcing and supply chain optimization for dedicated category portfolio incl. comprehensive management of all category related activities
  • Responsible for defining and implementing category sourcing strategy, including setting categoryrelated targets
  • Working crossfunctional with related departments being a keyenabler of category innovations and implementation
  • Direct management of the global category managers team, prototype purchasing team and provide functional guidance to local purchasing teams in affiliates
  • Coordination of prototype purchasing activities and alignment and transfer of product developments into category strategies
  • Lead global negotiations and manage key supplier relationships and partnerships in close alignment with Category Managers
  • Setup regular category reporting by tracking degree of target achievement and listing major activities

YOUR PROFILE:


  • Team player and leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong problem solving skills
  • Change-Agent who inspires and motives others to perform effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Several years of experience in strategic procurement/supply chain management in the electronics, automotive or related industries, preferably paired with experience in a leadership role
  • Experience working with international matrix organizations and multicultural project teams with global coverage and responsibilities
  • Strong project management and change management skills, gathered in international projects
  • University education (Bachelor's/Master's) with focus in an analytical discipline required (e.g., engineering/science or economics/business administration)
  • Fluent German and English is required

Annual Remuneration:

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €95.000,00.

We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
