Fully-funded 3-year PhD Position in Economics

The Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS) is looking for a PhD student in

Economics who is interested in pursuing a PhD project revolving around 'European Integration'.

be part of an international, interdisciplinary doctoral college of other researchers with

backgrounds in political science and law. Owing to its excellent faculty/researcher ratio, SCEUS

provides a superb research environment. Doctoral students benefit from an international,

multidisciplinary, and co-operative environment and enjoy close contact with and regular

supervision from PLUS professors and visiting scholars.

Benefits:

Universities. The contract runs for three years. The position covers 30 hours/week and is

A (research) master's degree in economics. The degree has to be completed by no later than

30 September 202- Demonstrable fluency in English, the working language of the doctoral college.

Excellent study results and analytical skills.
Documented skills in using quantitative methods such as statistical modelling and/or

econometrics is a merit.

Interest in interdisciplinary research cooperation.
