As a Dispatcher / Flight Coordinator at Haute Aviation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination and safe operation of flights for our esteemed clients in the business aviation sector.
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks to optimize flight schedules, manage logistics, and provide exceptional service to our clientele.
Key duties include:
Flight Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborating with clients, flight crews, and relevant stakeholders to plan and coordinate flight itineraries, taking into account factors such as weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and client preferences.
- Conducting thorough preflight planning to ensure efficient routing and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Securing necessary permits, clearances, and authorizations for each flight.
Crew Support and Management:
- Liaising with flight crews to communicate flight plans, provide updates, and address any operational considerations.
- Coordinating crew schedules, rest periods, and accommodations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with aviation regulations.
Aircraft Management:
- Managing aircraft availability and scheduling to maximize fleet utilization and meet client demands.
- Overseeing aircraft maintenance scheduling and coordination to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
Communication and Client Relations:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Facilitating clear communication between clients, flight crews, ground staff, and other relevant parties throughout the flight planning and execution process.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Developing and implementing emergency response procedures in collaboration with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Providing support and guidance to flight crews in emergency situations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all parties involved.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintaining accurate records of flight plans, permits, crew schedules, and other relevant documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Dispatch license (mandatory)
- Previous experience in flight dispatch, flight operations, or aviation management, particularly within the business aviation sector.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, flight planning procedures, and aircraft performance characteristics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in aviation software and flight planning tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Fluent in English (additional languages such as German or French are a plus).
