In this exciting role, you will be the legal point of contact for a variety of Red Bull's growing number of sports projects and provide legal support as a Legal Business Partner.


You will be embedded in a team of lawyers with similar roles for various sports projects and other businesses, and thus be able to benefit from their experience, know how and network.


ACT AS LEGAL BUSINESS PARTNER FOR OUR SPORTS PROJECTS


As a Legal Business Partner, you will be responsible for the comprehensive legal support of, and advice to, some of our sports projects, with a focus on athlete matters, commercial aspects (including sponsorships and partnerships), sports governance matters (including sports regulatory compliance), corporate matters (including compliance with internal policies and regulations), data privacy, intellectual property, employment and labor, health law and other related legal aspects.


Gaining a 360-degree view and deep understanding of your sports projects, you will be the key point of contact for a wide range of legal topics - and advise either directly or with the support of internal and external experts.


GIVE COMPREHENSIVE & TIMELY LEGAL ADVICE


As the primary legal point of contact of your sports projects, you will draft and finalize a wide range of contracts including athlete contracts, sponsorship and partnership agreements, lease agreements, terms and conditions, supply agreements, consultancy agreements, service contracts, etc.

You will assist and advise management in the negotiation and conclusion of such contracts.


You will prepare analyses and solutions for specific legal topics arising from applicable sports regulations or other applicable regulatory frameworks.

You will liaise with internal experts or outside counsels on specific areas of law, e.g. IP and data privacy laws.


You will work collaboratively with other members of the Legal Department as well as with colleagues of the Finance Department and your business clients.


MANAGE LEGAL RISKS & LEGAL WORKLOAD FOR OUR SPORTS PROJECTS
You will manage legal workload and legal risks for your sports projects.

To that end, you will create, update and administer templates. You will empower your business counterparts through impactful trainings and one-to-ones. You will manage internal and external stakeholders for more complex legal projects, manage priorities and deadlines.


Qualifications:

Completed studies of law (Mag. iur./2. Staatsexamen or Master of Business Law) and ideally bar exam.


Additional degree in business administration or postgraduate education (Master's Degree (LL.M.), MBA - also with a focus on sports) will be an advantage.


Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience (post-qualification), ideally at a law firm _and_ an international company / organisation involved in the sports industry.

Extracurricular activities; preferably studies or work abroad in English language.

Excellent command of written and spoken German and English.

Agile and efficient while being thorough and accurate.

Business-minded, ability to communicate with non-lawyers.

Hands-on and can-do mentality.

Team spirit and solution-oriented working-style.

Fast learner and proactive personality able to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.


Additional Information:


Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.367,00 gross per month.

However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
