About the Role
This position is an important link between the finance, product, and IT world, which needs good analytical & process understanding skills as well as strong communication and diplomacy skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation of business requirements/specifications, and gain consensus on priorities for process improvements and resulting technology needs.
- Lead and represent finance through projects from analysis, design, testing, training and implementation
- Drive continuous process improvement and development of tools and systems enabling enhanced process automation
- Build and nurture collaborative business relationships throughout the finance, product & IT organization
- Responsible for training business users on standard processes and technologies used to execute those processes.
- Be an agent for change
- Involvement in further enhancements of system landscape, or other projects
Core Skills- Consistent attention to detail and overall thoroughness in managing all levels of information- Knowledge of, and experience with change management and project management- Advanced understanding of financial and business processes and the risks surrounding those processes- Working well in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines for deliverables- Strong analytical skills- Strategically agile; ahead thinking, curious and eager to act in a highly demanding environment- Accurate working style, willingness to continuous improvement- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
