The master data management team of the voestalpine High Performance Metals Division plays a central role in long-term successful operation and development of the SAP system and connected systems.

The team works closely with various business functions (e.g. procurement, sales, production), IT, finance and controlling on holding and global subsidiaries level to integrate their demands into a consistent and future-proof system. With their active governance role, it ensures both business needs and harmonization and efficiency targets are met.

As a Junior Master Data Manager you join the Strategic Marketing & Sales team which works with our global sales network in the Value-Added Service Business Unit to optimize & digitalize the marketing & sales process of our division.

You will be part of a team of open-minded colleagues from diverse backgrounds who enjoy driving their joint activities with high ambition and strong target orientation.


Job description:


  • Product owner (M/F/d) of the global customer master data model, customer life cycle management process (including customer creation, maintenance, archiving, etc.) and their dependencies
  • Actively drive the professional maintenance and continuous development of customer master data for SAP, CRM and other connected systems to support business goals
  • Play an active role in standardization and harmonization of customer master data in the division, in close collaboration with business and other functions
  • Proactively monitor master data quality and drive improvement activities with subsidiaries globally
  • Ensure and deliver trainings on customer master data for colleagues (M/F/d) globally
  • Act as expert (M/F/d) for customer master data in the further rollouts of new SAP S4 HANA globally, to integrate existing and new requirements into a consistent solution

Disciplinarily Reporting to: Head of CRM, CRM is a unit within Strategic Marketing & Sales:


  • Functionally Reporting to: Divisional Master Data Manager

Qualifications:


  • 3 years of experience in business or IT functions, actively managing SAP, CRM and/or other master data
  • Experience with an MDM Tool is a plus
  • Strong project management skills to take the initiative, coordinate with different stake holders (M/F/d) & make things happen
  • Excellent communication skills, successful management of conflicting interests with multiple functions and ability to find solutions for business requirements collaboratively
  • High serviceoriented and gettingthingsdone mentality towards internal customers (M/F/d)
  • Reliability and diligence, as well as selforganized personality
  • Advanced level of German and English, other languages are beneficial
  • Flexibility to travel globally (up to 15%), possibility for home office up to 2 days a week

What we offer:


Salary Package and Benefits:
The collective minimum salary agreement for this position is € 3.491,24 gross (14 x per year). The actual payment depends on the particular qualification and experience.
