What you will enjoy doing:

You coordinate all the RFQ related to IM Machines, providing clear technical feedback and a professional benchmark process.
You are responsible for IM Machines definition and procurement in agreement with Head of Procurement.
Responsible for developing a professional benchmarking with main suppliers.
You are main responsible for the provision and further development of ALPLA machine standards on a regular base according to the needs of the business in the different categories (Packaging, Beverage, Pails and Buckets, Pharma,) and different regional requirements.
Mainly responsible for the technical feasibility of IM machines, such as Correct size of injection unit, machine options, interfaces, retrofits required.
You define the machine configuration and are responsible for the delivery schedule.
You will be responsible for commissioning the IM machine at the supplier site, providing all acceptance protocols and coordinating the machine installation and commissioning at the production facility in collaboration with Operational Support and/or PM.
Assure the update for all the IM machine database into the system for global purposes.

What makes you great:

You have a completed education in the field of engineering, project management or similar
You have at least five years of professional experience in the plastics industry
You already have expertise in IM technology
Your strengths are communication, moderation and problem solving
You are fluent in written and spoken English
Entrepreneurial thinking, projectoriented work and passion for continuous improvement are part of your profile
High willingness to travel goes hand in hand with your advanced intercultural behavioral skills
You have strong purchasing and negotiation skills
Microsoft Office skills complete your profile
