In Vienna we are about to enforce our R&D strength by transferring our Product & Technology Development Capabilities for our Reduced Risk Products (RRP) into a newly formed organization.

Therefore, we are looking for an experienced, technological-focused and results-oriented professional for the role of


Technical Product Development Manager / R&D Projects (f/m/d)

What will you do?

You will

  • Provide technical project management to the design, development and optimization of our existing and future Reduced Risk Product Portfolio
  • Actively manage R&D new product development and improvement of specific Reduced Risk Products through collaboration with our engineering & technology development teams as well as related business functions
  • You coordinate R&D internal resources and third parties for the successful execution of projects; this includes design, development, verification/validation and implementation activities ensuring that our products meet regulatory requirements, cost targets and internal guidelines for safety and quality
  • You actively seek to maximize IP generation
  • You act as first point of R&D contact to the broader NPD process and facilitate information sharing with all relevant environments

Who are we looking for?

You have

  • A university degree (FH/Uni) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or closely related major engineering disciplines or relevant working experience
  • A proven, multiyear experience in managing projects from concept to production in a multidisciplined R&D product development role preferably in the consumer electronics or medical device industry
  • An excellent understanding of product development in terms of product design, product verification & validation as well as documentation and projectrelated financial aspects
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and work collaboratively with others at all levels in the organization
  • Fluent skills in English (German/Japanese is considered a plus)
