One trainee will be based in the department CIO Group Functions.

This department is responsible for the following topics:

  • IT-Strategy definition and implementation
  • Facilitate IT Communities in CEE including handling of regular performance talks with the CEE entities
  • Initiate and enable important COOrelated groupactivities
  • Accountability for and ownership of PM policy/procedure, Group Architecture policy/procedure, IT Service Management Policy, Procedure for Oracle License Demand Management and Procedure for SAP License Demand Management for the entire Group
  • CIO Group Functions scope is limited to the 6 CEE entities

Your Tasks:


  • Support in preparation of regular updates about plans and progress from a position of knowledge within the individually assigned & prioritized topics
  • Contribution in preparation for consulting in next steps and proposed ways forward of assigned & prioritized topics from a strategic management perspective
  • Support in preparation of advice to Group COO and Group CIO on IT strategy topics
  • Provide input for the creation and adaption of the Group IT Strategy and support in alignment process with all relevant stakeholders within the group
  • Contribute in monitoring the ITtransformation topics of the CEE banks
  • Partially provide group support for dedicated tasks within local strategic initiatives and assist in coordination/communication among all related/involved parties
  • Provide input for the initiation, preparation & implementation of group wide initiatives as defined in the Group ITstrategy in close cooperation CIO Consulting Senior Experts/Experts
  • Support reconciliation of strategic initiatives amongst the COOcommunity

Your Background:


  • A university degree (min. Bachelor, preferably Master degree)
  • Basic Banking Know-How and overview on Banking ITtopics
  • Basic Project
- & Program Management experience

  • Interested in Banking Operations, IT-Security, IT-Architecture & IT-Portfolio Management and IT-Financials
  • Ideally rough overview on bankingindustry trends & developments
  • Basic organisational and project management skills
  • Solid communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Profound English skills mandatory, German & CEElanguages are an advantage
