YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Close collaboration with the PALFINGER's Sustainability Council and sustainability owners across the organization.
Create and execute Supply Chain sustainability roadmap to reduce PALFINGER's environmental impact, e.g., by improving carbon footprint in all areas within Supply Chain responsibility.
Own and drive forward the sustainability data collection process through a webbased system and collaborate with vendor. Support all departments to ensure consistent use as well as feeding of the system.
Collaboration with PALFINGER's site network to ensure understanding on PALFINGER's Sustainability journey and targets. Guarantee all parties provide the necessary information/data to track environmental impact within.
Track progress on sustainability key performance indicators, ensure data accuracy to pass external auditing.
Education: Progress and accelerate Sustainability Knowledge across PALFINGER, developing and providing regular trainings to the different functions.
External focus: Keep up to date on how lifting industry and environmental supporting companies develop on sustainability. Identify opportunities and solutions for PALFINGER in terms of reporting, footprint calculation, environmental impact assessment and improvement, etc.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering Studies, Sustainable Business or similar.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Corporate Sustainability with advanced understanding and experience on Sustainability Strategy and Value Creation, GHG Accounting (GHG Protocol), Decarbonization Strategies, Sustainable Supply Chain, Sustainability Monitoring & Reporting, Sustainability Impact Assessment/ Measurement.
Experience in cross functional and cross level collaboration to develop, agree and execute sustainability strategies.
Interaction with all Value Chain functions (incl. engineering, logistics, procurement, internal manufacturing), R&D and Marketing.
Ability to work independently with effective problemsolving skills and excellent communication and influencing skills. Knowing when to reach out for support.
Proactive, analytical, problemsolving mindset. Always seeking improvement.
Fluent English communication (verbal, written).
Desirable: Strong sustainability knowledge on water and biodiversity, Circular Economy, Life Cycle Assessment, Materiality Assessment.
Desirable: Up to date on sustainability innovation/technologies/regulations.

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 47.612,04 per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
