STRATEGY


As Strategic Procurement Manager, you'll be in charge of forming the procurement strategy by establishing and maintaining procurement standards, guidelines and governance processes applicable to all procurement categories.

By understanding supplier capabilities, capacities, performance, and supply chains, you'll provide direction to internal teams and manufacturing partners in alignment with the division's sourcing strategies.

As part of that, you'll sum up the division's procurement complexity and map its landscape.

Within this role, you'll directly report to the Chief Product Officer and establish, implement and maintain procurement KPIs.

DAY-TO-DAY


As part of your business routine, you'll support the improvement of procurement's day-to-day operations, support cost and optimisation efforts and will be in collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders such as all product related departments, Operations, Marketing and Finance.

By taking an analytical point of view, you'll identify and leverage cross-functional synergies and exploit cost benefits. Moreover, you'll negotiate and review large and complex contracts with key suppliers. Establishing, managing and resolving procurement escalation scenarios will also be a vital part of your role.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, ideally within the têxtile and fashion industry
  • Profound knowledge in têxtile, including material complexity, sustainability, sourcing, vendor
- and category management

  • Distinct analytical mindset to visualise and evaluate data for decision making and strategy formation
  • Strong project management experience, including the development of action plans, identifying deliverables and presenting results
  • Trackrecord of an entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership experience in working with crossfunctional and crosscultural teams
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with strong influencing and persuasion talent for negotiation
