The Role:


The
(Senior) Product Manager (M/F/d) is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of marketing and educational programs in the assigned therapeutic field.

Furthermore the individual actively drives the development and execution of brand, disease and launch plans as part of the cross-functional teams.

The (Senior) Product Manager (M/F/d) owns and leads the brand strategy in the assigned business area and is responsible to generate all necessary insights to understand current and anticipate future market dynamics resulting in successful planning and execution through the lifecycle.

The (Senior) Product Manager (M/F/d) understands performance drivers and conveys the overall brand vision, strategy and outcome-based tactical considerations to the internal and field-based roles across functions to achieve overarching team goals.

This individual is also responsible to ensure the accurate development of short-, mid and long-term commercial forecasts and drives P&L considerations in the brand team to ensure the right business focus and agility.

The The (Senior) Product Manager (M/F/d) proactively drives business cases to expand business opportunities with additional investments.

In addition, this individual builds and maintains close relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and KOLs in the Austrian market.

Therefore, this person will be working partially in the field directly interacting with customers.

The
(Senior) Product Manager (M/F/d) has direct responsibility or accountability for more than 1 brand or indication.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Brand management

  • Leads the development of integrated, crossfunctional disease/brand/launch plans through close liaison with other team functions such as sales, medical affairs, market access, and regulatory.
  • Leads, develops and executes innovative and impactful promotional campaigns and nonbranded concepts.
  • Leads the development and implementation of marketing materials and ensures timely provision of materials in accordance with Austrian regulations (e.g. AMG, Pharmakodex, SOPs).
  • Ensures efficient use of resources by driving the team to explore new ways of conducting business (e.g. digital initiatives).
  • Drives the development and execution of projects and campaigns that leverages the quantity, quality and impact of customer interactions by field teams.
  • Manages a portfolio of products and/or indications in different states of the lifecycle.
  • Coresponsible for maximizing the sales performance by closely liaising with sales functions for the development of commercial strategies, projects and materials.
  • Responsible to initiate market intelligence, to analyze market data and an and to translate the findings into impactful strategies and tactics to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Drives effective rollout of marketing campaigns/tools to the KAMs through briefing meetings & training sessions and double visits in the field.
  • Constantly strives to identify growth opportunities for the brands and indications in charge and drives business cases to make appropriate investments.
  • Drives P&L considerations in the brand team to maximize current and future business growth.
  • Proactively supports the development of commercial short, mid
- and long-term forecasting scenarios.

  • Responsible for marketing DPE (direct product expenses) spending in allocated products/indications.
  • Proactively supports supply functions in adequate demand planning.

Further responsibilities

  • Represents the Austrian affiliate in at least one international product or project team
  • Identifies and maximize synergies for the responsible brands/indications by closely exchanging with peers on cluster (CHAT, EUC) and international level
  • Proactively monitors current and future resource needs in the areas of responsibility and, in collaboration with the BUD, recruits adequate temporary workforce (e.g. tour of duties, job rotations, consultancy)
  • Consciously contribute to the creation of a good workplace and company culture, a continuous performance management and feedback, employee recognition and coaching

Skills / Knowledge Required:


  • Life science, medical and/or Business Administration degree required
  • At least 4 years but ideally at least 58 years of experience in pharmaceutical indu
