Beschreibung

The Professional Cricketers' Association (PCA) is a trade union that looks after the interests of men and women professional cricketers - both, past and present - in England and Wales.

We play a crucial role in supporting the game and safeguarding players in the areas of professional development, player welfare, and legal advice.

We are now seeking a new Chief Financial Officer to take overall responsibility for our accounting function, and to contribute to the effectiveness of our Member Services and Commercial programmes.

The PCA has a total membership of more than 3,500 cricketers past and present, and our annual income is over £2 million, which we spend on player education and welfare services.

We also have a commercial operation - PCA Management Limited - with income also more than £2 million arising from our Event, Ambassador and Cricket Hospitality programme and the provision of management services to the England men and women's cricket teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation at the forefront of promoting the interests of players and safeguarding their futures at a crucial time in the evolution of cricket.

You will join a talented and committed Executive Team made up of the Chief Executive, COO, the Director of Development, Welfare and Member Services, the Commercial Director, and the EDI Director.

As part of the Executive Team, the Chief Financial Officer will play a key role in strategy development and have overall responsibility for accounting, tax, strategic HR, IT, and Office Management functions at the PCA.

To succeed in this role, you will possess the relevant accounting experience, be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, and demonstrate a track record of proactively supporting the day to day running of an organisation.

You will also be an effective communicator, have the ability to build and maintain fruitful relationships, and understand how to challenge and support the
CEO and other members of the Executive Team in working towards organisational priorities.
