About the Unit
YARA Environmental Technologies is the centre of competence for basic / detail engineering and turnkey solutions of SCR & SNCR DeNOx systems for power applications. With several hundred of systems installed globally our flue gas cleaning systems are used for the efficient removal of pollutants from flue gas using catalytic & non-catalytic denitrification processes. Hazardous substances (NOx, SOx, Hg, Dioxin, etc.) are substantially reduced through an ideal combination of our systems to provide tried-and-tested, leading-edge technologies for environment-friendly power plants and industrial applications.
The Unit “Stationary” within the Business Unit Environmental Solutions has around 100 employees located in Austria, China/Taiwan, Germany, India, Sweden and Poland. To support our team we are looking for an experienced and motivated “Technical Sales Engineer” for Industrial Applications.
Establishing contacts with plant operators as our direct customers with the main focus on Industrial Applications (e.g. cement, waste to energy, steel)
Successful completion of contracts as project leader in the sales phase and in cooperation with the contract and line management
Sales & proposal management of projects for DeNOx / flue gas cleaning business
Close cooperation and guidance of the involved engineering team
Introducing Yara as a technology partner at industrial clients (e.g. cement, waste to energy, petrochemical)
Identifying competitive and reliable sub-suppliers / sub-contractors
Bachelor and/or Master Degree in engineering (mechanical or process engineering) or sales & marketing with high affinity to technology
3 to 5 years of experience in sales & proposal management in the industrial market (e.g. cement, waste to energy, petrochemical)
Experience in business development is an advantage
Self-motivation and goal-oriented personality with an entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset
Excellent verbal and written language skills in English, other languages (French, German) are considered as an asset
Flexibility and willingness to travel
The position is based in Vienna/Austria and reports directly to the Head of Sales Industrial Applications.
The salary is based on the applicable collective agreement. Depending on qualification and experience, a significant overpayment is possible.
