My name is Alexander Baumann, I am 30 years old, and I hereby apply for the position of Customer Success Specialist. In addition to my CV, this cover letter aims to provide a brief overview to me personally and to my background:

I will not go into detail on how much I have always been a fan of Burton as a brand and as a company… Let’s just say ever since I learned how to ride, Burton has been a faithful companion ;)
I am currently seeking new endeavours which is why I am applying for this position- Building on my previous experience as Project Leader at Villinger GmbH, a small research and development company, based in Mieders, in the Stubai Valley, I would now love to demonstrate my skills at Burton. My previous role focused on leading and coordinating innovative lab-to-fab projects in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors, which included a variety of administrative- and organizational responsibilities. Due to constant direct contact with project partners and customers, I have gathered profound experience in maintaining professional business relationships, and through regular B2B communication, I am used to playing a leading role in sales.

As my previous employer was a relatively small organization, I had the opportunity to contribute to various areas within the company. I was significantly involved in legal affairs and in drafting and managing all non-disclosure agreements and cooperation contracts.

I am proficient in Microsoft Office and other digital tools such as SharePoint and Outlook. Even though I have never worked with Dayforce, I am confident that I will be able to acquire the needed skill set in that regard quickly. Over the past few years, I have worked with both Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS in parallel.

I am fluent in English, and I am currently learning French.

In general, I would describe myself as a team player, although I am equally comfortable handling tasks independently and working autonomously. I am flexible, adaptable, and have a hands-on, solution-oriented mentality. I also consider myself a fairly structured and organized person.
