Daniel Blumauer

🎨 I’m Daniel, a Senior Digital Designer from Linz, Austria, with a passion for creating design that’s both functional and drop-dead gorgeous.

My design journey started with making Hip-Hop beats as a teen. When I needed a logo, I taught myself Photoshop, and the rest is (accidental) history. Since then, I’ve been crafting visual stories across branding, marketing campaigns, websites, and app designs that not only look good but feel right.

In 2012, I joined Adidas Digital Sports (formerly runtastic), designing digital experiences that help millions get moving. I’ve been part of designing over 40 campaigns, from Run for the Oceans to the Berlin Marathon, and created everything from app store assets to massive billboards.

Over time, I also took on some art direction responsibilities, contributing to visual identity development, shaping marketing experiences, and collaborating closely with creative and cross-functional teams. These experiences gave me a solid foundation in leading creative work and thinking beyond execution.

Outside of design, I’m passionate about personal growth, mental health, and finding beauty in the details (even Comic Sans, maybe). 😜

Adidas Digital Sports (formerly runtastic)

Senior Designer Digital Creative (May 2022 – March 2025)

Led over 10 global digital campaigns and toolkits for adidas, ensuring brand consistency, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration across marketing and design teams.

Junior Designer Digital Creative (June 2017 – May 2022)

Designed and delivered over 30 digital campaigns for adidas, from concept to execution, focusing on creative innovation and brand consistency across various channels.

Support & Web Designer (December 2016 – June 2017)

Managed customer support while designing and maintaining key web assets like the Help Center and HR landing page.

Customer Support Agent (August 2012 – December 2016)

Provided customer service through chat and email, resolving inquiries and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
