Mohammad Azizzadeh

I, Mohammad Azizzadeh, completed my doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and obtained my Ph.D. in Epidemiology from University of Tehran, Iran. I worked as a researcher (2009-2021) at the faculty of veterinary medicine, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. During about 12 years work experience, I have been teaching epidemiology, biostatistics and research methodology courses. Furthermore, I performed a couple of epidemiological research projects and collaborated on various biomedical research projects, as consultant for designation, statistical analysis, interpretation and presentation of the statistical results.

2019-2020 I spent about 1 year as a guest researcher at the University of Veterinary Medicine (Vetmed Uni), Vienna. During this period I have collaborated on several projects regarding application of sensor technologies on early detection of diseases. 

Collaboration on several research projects helped me to enhance my skills on preparation of proposal, statistical analysis and revising the manuscripts for publishing in peer-reviewed journals. I have knowledge of the designation of different types of study (Surveys, Cross-sectional, Case-control, Cohort and experimental studies). Furthermore I am good at conventional statistical methods like mixed effect logistic and linear regression, survival analysis and nonparametric methods. I am a professional user of Excel, SPSS, STATA and I can work with R to some extent.  Recently, I started learning Python to get acquainted with new data analysis methods. I am deepening my German (I have ÖSD Zetifikat B2) and refreshing my experiences on some laboratory techniques like cell culture, PCR and western blot through collaboration on a research project
