Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher and act as the lab manager of the spectroscopy lab of Prof. Johannes D. Pedarnig. I have previously collaborated closely with industrial partners (Fronius International, Lenzing, RECENDT) at different projects, mainly relevant to optical spectroscopy techniques. For instance, with Fronius International, I successfully optically characterized and optimized the cleanliness process of the commercially available Acerios device, providing impactful results. This experience demonstrates my ability to apply scientific principles to solve real-world problems in a collaborative environment and deliver on complex projects, resulting in 5 scientific publications, presenting at 12 international conferences and 3 international awards, earned at well-known international conferences in the USA and Japan (awards selected by a committee and no outside nominations are accepted). In addition, I possess excellent lab and project management skills gained through supervising 8 BSc and MSc students which finally translates to strong organizational abilities and to bring successful conclusions. Also, this experience provides me the ability to adapt to highly dynamic environments, while explaining complex technical subjects to new students.
