Über Yagmur Sengun:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in the HR Professional position at your organization. With ten years of experience in human resources across international organizations, I have developed my expertise in delivering strategic and operational HR solutions in diverse and multicultural environments.

In my most recent role as Associate HR Co-ordination Officer with the OSCE in Vienna, I review organization-wide extra-budgetary programmes from an HR perspective, prepare reports, presentations, meeting notes for senior management, and collaborate with other sections. I am also involved in process improvement initiatives across different functions. This position strengthened my ability to work across departments and with external stakeholders to enhance HR systems and service delivery in an international context.

While I have general HR experience, my strongest expertise lies in recruitment and talent acquisition. Previously, at UNICEF, I was responsible for recruitment, HR analytics, onboarding, and well-being programmes for staff, serving as a focal point for health insurance and HR queries. At UNHCR, I oversaw HR operations for approximately 100 staff members, including Cross-Border operations, ensuring compliance with global policies and providing critical support during the 2022 Türkiye earthquake as part of the emergency context (E Duty Station). During the SCI experience, I coordinated all talent acquisition and recruitment activities for the Türkiye Country Office.

I am eager to continue contributing to the international HR field, bringing skills in stakeholder engagement, policy implementation, and fostering a customer-oriented HR culture. My Master’s degree in Human Resources Management complements my experience, equipping me to support your organization’s objectives effectively.

Kind regards,

Yagmur Sengun
