    Responsibilities:

  • Together with the laboratory team, you will develop and adapt elastomer compounds for the specific application areas of our product range as well as methods for the characterization of materials.
  • The necessary adaptation and optimization of the formulations of our compounds, as well as the consideration of bonding influences, are also part of your area of responsibility.
  • In the product development process, they play a central role in the project team in the selection of suitable materials for the respective customer applications.
  • Documentation and quality assurance are also among their tasks: this includes the preparation and documentation of tests, development projects, recipes and lessons learned for future projects.
  • They offer their specialist support for internal questions and internal and external audits.
  • They also contribute their specialist know-how to global Freudenberg projects for material development.

    • Qualifications:

  • Education: completed education (university, FH, HTL) with a focus on chemistry, plastics technology or materials science
  • Professional experience: You have relevant experience in a manufacturing company or in research
  • IT skills: MS Office, ideally SAP, experience in dealing with software products of testing equipment.
  • Skills:
  • You like to analyze and then draw the right conclusions.
  • Expertise in supporting the implementation of the digital factory and Industry 4.0 through the professional provision and preparation of relevant data Project management
