You are a leader
You will teach bachelor or master-level courses in your scientifi c discipline in English. You contribute to theresearch areas of Software Engineering and Intelligent Systems with applied research projects. In order to developand realise innovative ideas in digitalisation, you will act as a link between business and technology. You willinspire students when supervising their academic papers and nurture our network by fostering relationships withregional and international partners. You also have all what it takes to motivate people exploring current businesstopics and their links.

You have a distinctly international outlook
PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
Expertise/Experience in Data Science/Artifi cial Intelligence, especially in one of the following areas
Mathematical and Statistical Foundations for Data Science
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision
Data Analysis and Big Data technologies and tools
Information Systems, Data Management Systems
University teaching experience
Experience of conducting research projects and attracting third-party funding
Strong publication record and active member of the scientific community (as refl ected in memberships,conference attendance and peer review work)
Excellent English (min. C1 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

IMC Krems is not member to any collective agreement.

The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 58.800,- on the basis of full-time employment (40 hours per week).

Depending on professional qualifications and experience, we are willing to overpay.

The award of a professorship is not tied to the conclusion of an employment contract but to a peer review process and requires appropriate evidence of the candidate's record in teaching, research and practice.
