With your knowledge of operational procurement, combined with a cross-team understanding of processes, you identify gaps and potential for improvement in a wide range of purchasing categories.

You ensure that implemented systems (especially new ones) are used as defined, close knowledge gaps and use various internal tools to do so.

Process transparency and understanding

You provide training and onboarding as well as process and user documentation for our Procurement colleagues and suppliers and ensure that our systems run smoothly.

You add new functions and improvements to the existing documentation and communicate or train the changes.

You keep the relevant stakeholders up to date with news and share regular updates on developments.

Identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
Taking into account our internal and external requirements (e.g. sustainability), you define purchasing-specific requirements and expand these to include category-specific points together with the teams in Procurement.

With a view to continuous improvement, you will identify gaps and standardization potential for our processes, systems, data and reports and ensure that these are closed.

To do this, you will engage in an active exchange with all teams in Procurement and make concrete suggestions.

Harmonizing and specifying requirements
You work with the various teams in Procurement to harmonize and specify requirements.

With your expertise, you find out where differences and variants in our processes and data bring added value, but also where harmonization makes sense.

Based on the agreed requirements, you trigger projects and enhancements to start the implementation together with teams outside of Procurement.

During implementation, you ensure that the identified gaps and requirements are closed as defined by defining acceptance criteria and test cases.

You coordinate the execution of the tests along the teams in Procurement.
