- Accountable for technical design (3D modeling and 2D prints)
- Perform engineering tolerance analyze of mechanical modules
- Verification and documentation of process module systems to meet the systems specifications
- Execute technical designs to meet all engineering requirements regarding given Compliance and Safety Standards
- Accountable for BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and documentation release
- Technical response to meet all interface requirements with other modules and machine environment
- Technical design support to solve supplier and production problems including obsolescence part execution
- Apprenticeship (LAP) in technical design or Technical High School (HTL) in mechanical engineering
- Excellent knowledge with AutoCAD, Inventor or NX (or similar CAD software) is required
- Experience with design creation of mechanical modules
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Good knowledge in MS Office

Employment in Austria
This position will be occupied in Villach, Austria over a third party company. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group D or E, depending on Education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
