Job summary
This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence.The EIB offers you the opportunity to live and work in a truly international and multi-cultural environment. We also offer relocation support.
+Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain quantitative models supporting FI activities
- Elicit business needs by capturing objectives constraints acceptance criteria; produce clear functional non-functional requirements ensure end-to-end traceability from requirement controlled production
- Engineer analyse data source reconcile quality-check inputs design robust data queries controls perform exploratory analysis produce decision-ready outputs dashboards reconciliations exception reports business control stakeholders
Qualifications
- University degree minimum an equivalent Bachelor preferably in a quantitative information-systems-relevant field Financial Engineering Applied Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Business Information Systems Finance strong analytics Post-graduate studies professional certifications advantage At least 3 years relevant professional experience acquired preferably major consultancy firm financial institution central bank international organisation covering both quantitative topics business analysis delivery proven execution from requirement production Relevant experience pricing valuation risk measures ALM IRRBB FTP ability interpret model outputs translate them into business actions Hands-on requirements engineering process modelling coordination UAT release readiness post-go-live follow-up preparation decision notes user guides audit-ready standard Data tooling SQL Excel Python analytical prototyping automation visualisation Power BI backlog/test management tools Azure DevOps Jira version control Git CI/CD practices desirable Experience embedding control evidence interacting model validation internal external audit Good interpersonal skills client-oriented/service mindset organisational skills capability prioritise Excellent knowledge English French good knowledge other EU languages advantage
