    JOB SUMMARY
    The Learning & Development Executive forms part of the HR team.

    Under the leadership of the Director of HR, this role promotes the resort's learning and development strategy to achieve talent growth and organizational outcomes.

    The responsibilities include the planning, coordination and delivery of training and development programs in accordance with Marriott and Westin standards.

    In this role, the L&D Executive identifies training needs based on the skills that employees need to carry out their their jobs, tracks training progress as well as maintains training records.

    The L&D Executive aims to create an organization where the employees have the opportunities, capabilities and environment they need to learn effectively.


    Other duties include:
    Driving the resort's Performance Management Process Leading Take Care initiatives and wellness programs where Marriott's core value of 'Putting People First' is embraced and brought to live through our HR practices The administration of Engagement Survey which is a key metric of the resort's employee engagement and retention strategy Delivering and supporting the team with the hotel's onboarding program for new associates Supporting with general human resources duties/projects and acting as an HR representative Requirements for this role Degree in a social science field such as Human Resources or a relevant degree 2 years of work experience in a similar role or where public speaking skill is required Strong communication ability including proficiency in English Having a flair to present and speak in public Having a passion to communicate and interact with people
