    Global company in the field of Energy Storage Systems |An impactful and dynamic leader

    Our client is a leading company in the field of Energy Storage Systems based in the south of Vienna. The company specializes in the development and manufacturing of innovative energy storage solutions based on the latest technologies. Due to expansion, we are currently seeking an impactful and motivated Teamlead (m/f/d) for Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse Management.

    This Position is one of the most important roles within the company. His/Her primary goal is overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process. He/She is responsible for strategic planning, coordination and continuous improvement. The Teamlead Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain identifyies suitable suppliers, negotiates contracts and ensures the best possible costs. He/She is also responsible for logistics and warehouse management.

    Strategic Procurement planning:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain/procurement strategy aligned with the business goals, market trends and industry best practices.
    • Oversees and coordinates all aspects of procurement, logistics and warehouse.



    Supplier Identification and Management:

    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on criteria as quality, cost and reliability.
    • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers
    • Collaborate with suppliers-design for manufacturing, drive innovation, quality improvement etc.



    Costoptimization:

    • Implement cost-effective measures throughout the procurement.
    • Negotiate contracts, considering terms, pricing and delivery schedules.



    RiskManagement:

    • Identify and assess risks withing the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
    • Implement contingency plans for unforeseen challenges-like supply shortages, geopolitical issues etc.



    Continuous improvement:

    • Being able to implement state-of-the-art best practices.
    • Establish KPI's and analyze data.



    Sustainable and ethicalprocurement:

    • Incorporate sustainability and ethical considerations into procurement decisions.



    Logistics:

    • Improve the transportation network.



    Warehouse:

    • Optimize storage, material flow.
    • Completed commercial and technical education ideally HTL, FH with a strong focus on procurement/supply chain management.
    • 10yrs +professional experience as a strategic buyer or as a Teamlead Supply Chain/Procurement
    • 7 yrs + experience in leadership of a procurement team
    • High technical knowledge
    • knowledge in MS Office and ERP systems
    • knowledge and experience with international suppliers
    • very good knowledge of English
    • High IT Affinity
    • Independent work and personal initiative
    • negotiating power, assertiveness, communication skills

    Our client offers you the opportunity to join a future-oriented and innovative company with globally distributed customers and to develop personally and professionally. In the future, the establishment of a Supply Chain department to ensure the necessary procurement and logistics services for the implementation of customer projects is planned. For this exciting position, our client envisages a minimum salary of €75,000 gross annually. Of course, depending on professional experience and qualifications, there is a willingness to offer significantly higher pay.
